JANICE HOMAN Obituary

JANICE PATRICIA HOMAN

January 3, 1941 – October 1, 2025

Janice Patricia Homan left this world on October 1, 2025. She was born at home on January 3, 1941 to Joe and Belle Lopes. She graduated from Lemoore High School in 1958, then went off to College in Visalia for two years. No sitting around for her, the next week she was working for Beacon Oil in Hanford. She then met a handsome guy by the name of Tony Homan and on June 20th of 1964 wedding bells were ringing. She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Lemoore. Janice and Tony retired on the same day. They lived in the country for 34 years and then moved to Town. After her husband died Janice took to walking around her neighborhood and listening to country music. Making Rice Crispies was another one of her favorite things to do, and they were always the best. Her surviving sibling is sister Phyllis Mendes, and 5 nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Lopes & Belle Lopes, brother Joseph and nephew Alan Mendes. Janice will be missed by family, friends and all the people she would meet in the mornings and evenings.

Yesterday

I am so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. I had the pleasure of doing her hair for many years and enjoyed my monthly visits with her. She was beautiful inside and out! I am sorry for your families loss.
