Juanita Dodd Obituary

Juanita Dodd of Lemoore passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007 in a Fresno hospital at the age of 80 years.

Juanita was born in Henryetta, Oklahoma and had lived in Lemoore for the past 65 years. Juanita was a homemaker and wife of Durward Dodd, longtime owner/operator of Dodd's Barber Shop. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to Durward, Juanita is survived by two sons, Garland Dodd and wife Cheri of Hanford and Stonnie Dodd and wife Sandra of Lemoore; a sister, Mary Fox of Fresno; a brother, Bill Williams of Oakhurst; seven grandchildren, Belinda Dodd of Eugene, Oregon, David Dodd, Julieanne Berna, Erik Dodd and Tim Dodd, all of Hanford and Lisa Billingsley and Robert Dodd, both of Lemoore; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, Larissa.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the Lemoore Church of Christ with a funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Lemoore Cemetery.

Friends who wish may contribute to the charity of their choice in Juanita's memory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel in Lemoore.
