RAYMOND SANTILLAN Obituary
August 31, 1931 – October 10, 2025
Raymond Santillan, a former resident of Selma, passed away in Sanger on October 10th. He was 94 years old. Raymond, also known as Monchie to his old friends, was born in Calipatria, California. He was a welder for over 30 years with Stewart & Nuss before retiring. He was preceded in death by his wife, Enedina "Jennie", of 57 years, his brothers, his sister and his parents.
Along with welding, he loved to play his guitar and spend time with his family. He was a man of faith in God, humble, honest, funny, kind and wise. He was willing to help anyone in whatever way he could. He is survived by his daughter, Adela Spaunhurst, her husband Michael; his son, Raymond Santillan, Jr., his wife Grace; and his daughter Lucy, her husband Jaime, Garza, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Thomas-Marcom Funeral Home in Selma from 4:00 - 7:00 pm with the Rosary prayed at 6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Selma, on Thursday, October 30, at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery.
