"Chewy", our mini-Dachshund, has stayed with Tim and the Funny Faces group many times. We are saddened at his passing because he and his staff always provided such good care which was a wonderful legacy to his wife, Sherry. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends who will feel a great loss in their hearts at this time. Thanks and God bless,

We are so sad for Tim's family. We boarded cats and our dog out at Funny Faces for years. My wife and I designed a Sherry memorial stained glass window that he really liked. He had a tear in his eye when we brought it to him and he said it was a present to himself for Christmas. We hope the family will be able to hang it somewhere and remember them both. We will sure miss him.

Tim was such a gracious man and loved his four-legged friends. Our dog, Tahoe, loved to go to Funny Faces and always was so happy to see Tim. We will miss him. God Bless his family and friends!

We first met Sherry and Tim back in 2003 when we found out about Funny Faces. They took great care with our pups, and always remembered them, by name, when we would call in for an appointment. With heartfelt sympathy and prayers. Our condolences to the Collier family.

Tim Collier was, and always will be, a man celebrated in our hearts for his genuine warmth, his heartfelt generosity, strong patriotism, easy laughter, compassion for all living things, infectious optimism, natural humility, eagle-eyed attention to detail, and caring heart – whether four-legged or of the two-legged variety, all who met him through Funny Faces Bed & Biscuit or during his career in the construction industry know they were in the company of a truly special and wonderful man.

In particular, Tim’s strength and grace through the death of his beloved wife Sherry – the love of his life and inspiration for his construction of Funny Faces Bed & Biscuit – were deeply moving to all and a testament to their long-lasting marriage. Why, even after Sherry’s death from lung cancer on March 15th, 2006 Tim quickly formed a Relay for Life team to walk in her memory on April 29th-30th and raise funds for research so that, in his words “some researcher might someday jump up from his or her lab table and shout, “I found the CURE!!!!”

The Navy Families of NAS Lemoore who boarded their pets at Funny Faces Bed & Biscuit salute Tim Collier and are proud to spread his legacy of love, compassion, and joy to the four corners of the world.

We will always love you, Tim! Please give Sherry a great big hug for us and let her know we were never far from your side, whether with a warm plate of the world's best gourmet cookies, a hot home-cooked dinner, or a big selection of ice cream on a hot summer day. You're both members of our Navy family, Tim & Sherry, and always will be!

To the family of Tim,

So sorry for your loss, my thought's and prayers are with you
and your family. The past few months I would see your dad at
wal-mart and have conversation at the pet food of course. We would
talk about all our pets and what they liked to eat or didn't like to eat, how old they were and how special each and everyone of them was to us. I will miss seeing him and I know his fuzzy little friends will miss him also. Your mom and I had that special bond also, the love of animals. Peace be with them.
