David A. Calicotte, age 64, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:50 am Monday, February 3, 2025, at his home.
Per David's request, no services will be held.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
David was born on September 23, 1960, in Hannibal, MO the son of Frank and Permelia "Jane" (Newlon) Calicotte.
He was united in marriage to Kathy Avery on September 10, 1986, in Hannibal, MO.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of the home, stepdaughter Shara Durst (Joe) of Hannibal, MO; sister, Linda Carr (Gary) of Hannibal, MO and granddaughter, Chloe Durst.
Other survivors include nephew, Jonathan Robison (Savanah Lewis) of Hannibal, MO; niece, Rachel Litteken (Chris) and two great-nieces, Elizabeth Deming and Harper Litteken.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 1978. David was a skilled carpenter with a passion for woodworking, known for his craftsmanship and dedication to his trade.
David enjoyed working on puzzles and framing them, building model cars and crafting furniture. He took great pride in washing his truck and was a big fan of NASCAR, especially Bill Elliott. He cherished his yearly trips to Branson with his family and spending time with his beloved dog, Sophie.
David was a member of Oakwood Christian Church.
