Randal "Randy" C. Tourney, 66, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:40 AM, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, MO.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Pastor Chris Kuenzle will officiate. Burial will follow at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Randy's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, October 30, 2023, at the funeral home.
Randy was born September 14, 1957, in Hannibal, MO to William Tourney and Martha Pope Tourney.
He was married to Susan Johann on June 18, 1977, in Hannibal, MO. She survives.
Other survivors include his two children, Doug Tourney (Christine) and Casey Treaster (Brad); and 10 grandchildren, Jon Paul Tourney, Maddie Tourney, Kenzie Tourney, Braden Treaster, Bella Treaster, Brylee Treaster, Brantley Tourney, GiGi Tourney, Jesse Flint, and Ethan Flint.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda Tourney and Pat Wallace; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pete and Dorothy Johann.
Professionally, Randy retired from BASF, formerly American Cyanamid as a shift supervisor after 42 years of service.
Randy enjoyed refinishing furniture and working on lawn mowers in his free time. He loved music and had a beautiful voice. Randy and Susan loved traveling together and always looked forward to visiting Destin, FL every year. Most of all, Randy cherished the moments spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Randy was a member of First Baptist Church in New London, MO.
Pallbearers will be Gary Scholes, Blake Cogdal, Jacob Johann, Nate Buecke, Jackson Wallace, and Sam Wallace.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy's grandchildren and nephews, Bradley Funkenbusch and Jake Kenison.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of New London, MO or to the donor's choice.
