THREE OAKS - Thomas (TK) Alan Krycka, age 70, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1955, to Anthony and Mary (Swanson) Krycka in La Porte, Indiana.
A visitation with Tom's family will take place on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sommerfeld Chapel (15 North Barton St., New Buffalo, Michigan 49117). A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church – Sawyer (5791 Sawyer Rd., Sawyer, Michigan 49125) with Pastor Brandon Wittig presiding.
Tom was a 1973 graduate of Rancho High School in North Las Vegas, Nevada, after attending New Buffalo area schools through the eleventh grade.
Tom returned to Michigan in 1975. Shortly thereafter, he met Janice, and they were married on September 8, 1979.
Tom was a lifelong carpenter, an avid bowler, a die-hard Cubs fan and never turned down sweets. He and his wife enjoyed family camping trips and spending time with their grandchildren, who affectionately called him Booma.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Dehne) Krycka; his children, Angela Krycka, Jacob (Molly) Suhr-Krycka, Alicia (Gavin) Moore, and Stephanie Krycka; his grandchildren, Hannah, Reece, Braxton, and Cole; and his sisters, Sue (Rich) Thatcher, Rose (Dave) Gordon, Karen Dabbs, and brother, Joe (Debbie) Krycka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

To Janice & family so sorry of your loss.
Tommy was a good friend& a wonderful carpenter. He built Craig & I a beautiful kitchen besides lots of beautiful projects. He will be definately missed. God bless you & the rest of the family!

We will dearly miss cousin Tom. I remember babysitting for him and his siblings when they lived in New Buffalo. He was always a sweet boy and man. My prayers are with Janice and the kids and all his family. God rest his soul.
