MARY ALICE — George A. Clem, 65 of Mary Alice, KY passed away Friday Dec. 27, 2013 at his home with family by his side.
George was born March 29, 1948 in Cawood, KY. He was a retired Coal Miner and member of the Gulston Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Louise Clem.
He is survived by his wife Mary Clem; children, George Elbert Clem of Harlan, Pamela and Angie both of Indiana, Amanda (Dale) Mullins of Dryden, VA; grandchildren, Leslie Napier, and Jonathan (Katie) Clem, Emily and Isaiah Scott; 1 great grandson, Simon Elbert Clem; 1 sister, Mary Ruth Hensley and special friend Roy Bailey of Harlan; niece, Trichina "KI" (Steve) Smith of Mary Alice; Step-daughter, Tracy Baker; step grand daughter, Victoria Baker; 3 special nephews, Daniel Miracle, Jayme Miracle, and Michael Townsend; special friend and neighbor, Bob (Judy) Rhea of Mary Alice and Glen Muncy of Elcomb.
Visitation will be Monday Dec. 30, 2013 from 5 until 7:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Craig, Sr. and Rev. John Lundy officiating.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday Dec. 31, 2013 at the Grays Knob Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to the service.
