Carl Underwood Obituary
He was born on March 16, 1956, to the late Donald Underwood Sr., and Leola Stanley in Davenport, Iowa. In 1977 he started working as a boat builder for Woods Manufacturing and Family, he had a strong dedication to his work. Carl liked to fish but was a heck of catfisher, he loved it, to him it was never too cold. Carl was known to take people under his wing, one young man he was exceptionally proud of was Bryan Bigelow, he looked at him as a son. He was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband, and a hardworking man.
Carl is survived by his children, Charles Underwood (Carrie), Chrystina Barnes, Parker Underwood and Colton Underwood; siblings, Leonard Underwood (Josephine) and Carmmalita Collins; grandchildren, Candice Marks, Courtney Marks, Chayla Hubbard (John), Jasmine Cruise (Tommy), Dalton Underwood, Chelsea Underwood, Levi Farris, Elyssa Farris, Rebecca Farris, Donnie Farris, Deltha and Benjermin; and many great grand children.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Will Underwood; parents Donald Sr. and Leola Underwood; siblings, Don Underwood (aka JR), Ronald Underwood, Tammy Young, and Tommy Cooley.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Burns Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30. Graveside service will be on Friday, January 31, at Hand Valley Cemetery, in Rea Valley. Service will be officiated by Bryan Bigelow.
Services by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
