Robert Thatcher, age 62, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, July 8 (2009) at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
The son of Jean and Bernice (Russell) Thatcher was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his father, Jean Thatcher and his brother Charles Thatcher.
Robert retired from Farmer's Insurance after 38 years. One of his greatest memories was playing football for the University of Arkansas.
Robert Thatcher is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Thatcher Aurthur and her husband, Heath of Harrison; his grandchildren, Zoe Aurthur and Dillon Robinson of Harrison; and his sister, Susan Thatcher Moore of Cabot.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Edgewood Memorial Cemetery on Division Street in North Little Rock.
