I just found out about Addie's death. Addie has been my tax advisor for forty years. Although I only saw her at tax times our visits were much, much more than tax talk. She was always there when I needed her. Her friendship and intelligence were a life saver for me. Addie had a wonderful view of life, great compassion for friends and an easy laugh. I loved hearing about her life, her family, her friends and their activities. I am totally shocked and saddend by her sudden death. I cannot imagine my life without her but I am so grateful for having known her.

My friend Addy was so special and I am so blessed to have known her. I have many wonderful memories as do all the people who were fortunate to have met and had the pleasure of being around her. Memories of the times she spent with us at Torrington and beyond will make me smile as long as I live.

IF A TRUE FRIEND TOUCHES YOUR HEART IN A LIFE TIME, YOU MUST CONSIDER YOURSELF TO BE A LUCKY PERSON. I FEEL AS THOUGH I AM ONE OF THE LUCKY PEOPLE TO HAVE BEEN FRIENDS WITH DEAR ADDY. SHE ALWAYS HAD THE TIME TO LISTEN AND TALK WITH YOU. ADDY SHARED MANY HAPPY MEMORIES WITH ME ABOUT HER FAMILY, ESPECIALLY HER TWO GREAT NEPHEWS, JUSTIN & RYAN. ADDY WAS ALSO A GREAT TEACHER, SHE TAUGHT ME ALOT ABOUT THE ACCOUNTING BUSINESS. ADDY WILL SURELY BE MISSED. I HOPE THAT YOU ALL FIND PEACE IN YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS, AS ADDY WILL ALWAYS BE PART OF OUR LIVES.

Dear Elaine- I am sorry to hear about Addy "Chubby." We all knew her by her Chubby name and all the fun that we had in high school. That was a lot of years ago and much has happened to all of us. I pray that your family is strong through this trying time as your lives have known much grief. May God bless you all.
