da SILVA, Agostinho Agostinho da Silva, 84, of Newington, husband of the late Maria Marques Figueiredo da Silva, died Sunday, (August 27, 2006) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Loureiro, O. de Azmeis, Portugal, he resided in the Hartford area for many years and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Prior to his retirement he was employed by the Wiremold Co. Mr. da Silva received great pleasure taking care of his garden. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Domingos M. and Amelia da Silva of Manchester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maria E. S. and Jose Condeco of Newington, and Maria F. and Antonio Pinho of Farmington; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Manuel and Jose Henrique da Silva; and a sister, Ana Rodrigues. Funeral procession will be Wednesday, 9 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Square, Hartford, CT 06106.
