Intensity and brilliance are some of your qualities, Alan, on top of a deep knowledge of human nature. Your workshop at Esalen changed my life for the better. The world is less radiant without you.

I see what I wrote about Alan a few years ago and nothing has changed for me. He will always be a dynamic presence in my life.

I remember taking two speech courses the summers of 1969 and 1970. He taught those years in Dowling college. He challenged everyone who had an opinion. A great teacher. God bless Dr. Schwartz.
