Albert Lukowski Obituary

LUKOWSKI, Albert B. Albert B. Lukowski, 91, of Case Circle, West Simsbury, beloved husband of Jane V. (Sztorc) Lukowski, died Tuesday, (August 28, 2007), at St. Francis Hospital. He was born March 21, 1916 in Maspeth, NY, son of the late Adam and Wanda (Butz) Lukowski and had lived in New Hyde Park, NY prior to moving to West Simsbury 35 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Mr. Lukowski was an accountant for 43 years with Murray Manufacturing, Brooklyn, NY retiring from Arrow-Hart, Hartford. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Simsbury, the St. Aloysius Society and Holy Name Society, both of Floral Park, NY. Along with his wife of 68 years, he is survived by six children and their spouses, Judith and Edward Moks, Susan and John A. Caselli, Jr., Albert L. and Coleen Lukowski, Theresa and Daniel Weimer, William A. Lukowski and his wife, Kathleen Kane and Joseph Brian Lukowski; three great grandchildren, Mina, Charlie and Declan and eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Laura, Justine, Christopher, John, Michael, Dylan and Adam. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Edward and a sister, Regina. Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, TODAY, August 31, 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral will be Saturday, September 1, 11:15 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 12 noon at St. Catherine of Siena Church, West Simsbury. Burial will be in Simsbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Road, West Simsbury, CT 06092.
