Anita BOGNER Obituary

BOGNER, Anita C. (Brighenti)

Anita C. (Brighenti) Bogner, 82, of Bolton and Vero Beach, FL, beloved wife of the late William Bogner Jr. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, (March 9, 2013). Mrs. Bogner was born on Aug. 30, 1930 in Hartford, daughter of the late Charles and Ada (Broccoli) Brighenti and had resided in Bolton for over 45 years. Anita was a fabulous cook who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Many good times and memorable conversations took place at her dinner table. Talking to and spending time with her friends and family daily made her day complete. She enjoyed reading a good book and sharing it with others. The spring and summer were her favorite time of the year so she could tend to her gardening. She would always have her beloved dog by her side wherever she was. Anita spent her winter months in Vero Beach, FL with her good friend Virginia. In Florida she enjoyed visiting with her friends on their front porch for lots of laughter and good times. She will truly be missed by all. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Kurt and Deborah (Greene) Bogner, Robert and Cheri (Talley) Bogner and David and Tracy (Mozzer) Bogner all of Bolton; her sister Vivian Hassett and her husband, Gerald of West Hartford; her eight loving grandchildren, CAPT. William Bogner U.S.M.C., Kelley Bogner, LT. Ryan Bogner A.R.N.G., Derek Bogner, Nicholas Bogner, Samantha Bogner, Olivia Bogner and William Bogner; her brother-in-law, Donald Bogner of RI; her four nieces, Kristal, Tammy, Lisa, Jessica; her nephew, Kevin; and her dear friends, Virginia, Olga and Joan.
Funeral services and burial were private in Bolton Center Cemetery, Bolton. There were no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Companion's Animal Rescue, PO. Box 956, Manchester, CT 06045 or to the Bolton Fire Department, 168 Bolton Center Road, Bolton, CT 06043. Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements.
