Ann Caiazza Obituary

Ann Caiazza, age 95, of New Britain, beloved wife of the Late Alexander Caiazza, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Born in New Britain on February 26, 1925, she was the daughter of the Late Nicholas and Venera (Giattino) Zicardi. Ann is survived by her daughter MaryAnn Biella and her husband John, and two granddaughters; Lynn Biella (Michael Chiloyan), Susan Linker and her husband Mitchell. A long time parishioner of St. Ann's church in New Britain, Ann began her Catholic education at St. Mary's Catholic School and was a graduate of New Britain High School. Ann was known to be a dedicated mother, grandmother, and friend whose face you would always see at every bingo night. She showed her love for her family through cooking her favorite meals- especially Italian food. In addition to her family, Ann was devoted to all animals; especially her cats: Toby, Toby II, and Lucky. Ann's family would like to thank the staff at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor for their compassionate care. All funeral services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made in Ann's name to Our Companions Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, PO Box 956, Manchester, CT 06045. The New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at www.newbritainsagarino.com
