My deepest condolences go to Karen and her family on this great loss. I am glad I'd spent some time with the mother of one of my dearest friends. I especially recall when we spent a weekend at Swiftriver Inn in western Massachusetts with our mutual friend Mary Rose as well as the New Year holiday when Mrs. Fairbrother welcomed a crowd of Karen's friends in her home. These were happy times. Karen was so devoted to her mom and I know that devotion enriched her mom's life immeasurably. I hope and pray that the Fairbrother Family finds courage and peace in the difficult days ahead.
