My deepest condolences go to Karen and her family on this great loss. I am glad I'd spent some time with the mother of one of my dearest friends. I especially recall when we spent a weekend at Swiftriver Inn in western Massachusetts with our mutual friend Mary Rose as well as the New Year holiday when Mrs. Fairbrother welcomed a crowd of Karen's friends in her home.
