Ann Masi Obituary

Ann (Marsh) Masi, 44, of South Windsor, beloved wife, mother and daughter, died on Thursday, (November 1, 2001) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born on June 7, 1957 in Hartford, daughter of Gordon and Stella (O'Donnell) Marsh of East Hartford, she grew up in East Hartford and had lived in Manchester before moving to South Windsor 14 years ago. Ann was a devoted mother to her two children, who she loved dearly. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing, crafts, and quilting. Ann was the librarian for the last ten years at Wood Memorial Library in South Windsor, where she used her passion for books and reading to help others. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Connecticut State University and her Master's Degree in Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University. She attended Avery Street Christian Reformed Church in South Windsor, and was an active member of the South Windsor Garden Club. Besides her parents, Ann leaves her beloved husband and children, Victor J. Masi, Nicholas G. Masi, and Kimberly E. Masi. She also leaves three brothers and two sisters, Doug and Linda Marsh of Security, CO, Ted and Kelly Marsh of Tolland, Tim and Sue Marsh of Farmington, Lisa and Joe Favale of Watertown, and Tracey Marsh of East Hartford. Family was important to Ann, she leaves many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, all of whom she loved deeply. Funeral service will be Monday, 12 Noon, at Avery Street Christian Reformed Church, 661 Avery Street, South Windsor, with Rev. Carl Bergman officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, South Windsor. Her family will receive friends Sunday, 4-7 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. Memorial donations be made to Wood Memorial Library, 783 Main St., South Windsor, 06074
