Antoinette Talamini

Antoinette (Tessie) Talamini, 93 passed away on January 17, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Steppen of Rockville . She lived most of her life in the Broad Brook area. Tessie worked many jobs before retiring from Sage-Allen store. She was a Girl Scout leader for several years, a past communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Broad Brook and former member of the VFW. She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law Tom & Debbie Talamini and granddaughter Rebecca; sisters Alice Farese, Margaret Zanks, Katherine Sperry and brother Joe Steppen all of CT; along with Frank and Albert Steppen (of Ocala, FL); among numerous caring nieces and nephews. She also leaves son Anthony Woronecki Jr and son, Richard Woronecki and family. Tessie was predeceased by her first husband Anthony Woronecki (killed in WWII) and husband, Amerigo Talamini; brothers Tony Steppen, John Steppen, Charlie Steppen and sisters Ann Fluckinger and Francis Margelony. A special thanks to the nurses and aides at Woodlake Tolland who provided Tessie with comfort and care over the last few years.

Relatives and friends may join the family Monday, January 20, 2014 from 4 - 7 pm at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect st, Rockville. A Funeral Home Service will take place Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Broad Brook.
