Antoni Sianko

Antoni Sianko, 82 of Rocky Hill, formerly of Hartford, beloved husband of Kazimiera Sianko, died Sunday, (October 27, 2002) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Suraz, Poland, he had lived in Hartford since 1961, moving to Rocky Hill ten years ago. Before retiring, he was a machinist at Atlantic Aerospace Textron Corporation, Newington. He was a communicant of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, a member of the Polish National Alliance Group 464, and the Polish National Home of Hartford. Besides his wife, he leaves a sister, Janina Poltorak; and a nephew, Jozef Poltorak and family; and other cousins and relatives in Poland. He also leaves a nephew, Boguslaw and his wife, Teresa Narewski of Rocky Hill; grandnieces, Elizabeth and her husband, Robert Fournier of Cromwell, Margaret and her husband, David Pearson and their daughter, Savannah all of Rocky Hill; and a cousin, Wieslaw and his wife, Zofia Narewski and family of Plainville. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 9:15 a.m, from the South Green Memorial Home, 43 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Hartford. Burial will be in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. His family will receive friends at the South Green Memorial Home, Hartford Friday, 5-8 p.m.
