Art was the classiest of people I ever met in my life. He was gracious and kind and always made you feel comfortable.
My mother adored him and her niece Hilda, and when we were with them they couldn´t have been more gracious.
It was truly my honor to know him!
My love to Hilda and the family!

To Art Kesten's family, my sincerest condolences. When I started in the early 1990s at Research there were about 900 people, and Art was second in charge. Something I did as a young engineer helped one of the Divisions, and an (old fashioned paper) memo showed up at my desk, it was a note from him saying Well Done in German. How he figured out I was half German and knew a smattering is still a mystery to me, but much appreciated acknowledgement for a young engineer, to learn that someone "4 layers up" knew who I was and was paying attention.

I fondly remember Thanksgiving with Uncle Art and Aunt Hilda, followed by a wonderful, refreshing walk, to walk off the meal. I also loved hearing about his new inventions.

Hilda and family. Our thoughts are with you all, with many positive memories of Art. A fund of knowledge, and so easily dispensed. He left a mark and a void has been left.
