MYERS, Beulah Ann Stroud Beulah Ann Stroud Myers, age 81, of Burlington, formerly of Suffield, passed away Sunday (June 5, 2005) after a steady decline in health following the death of her husband Bill earlier this year on February 24. Born and reared in Broad River Township near Black Mountain, NC, Ann was the daughter of the late William F. and Gladys Marlowe Stroud. Ann was a graduate of Black Mountain High School and Blanton's Business College, Asheville, NC. Her work career was spent with the Finance Division of the VA Hospitals, both in Asheville and in Connecticut. In 1959, she married William H. Myers, Sr. of St. Louis, MO and located to Connecticut. Surviving are two sons: William H. Myers, Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Annapolis, MD and Robert A. Myers and wife, Karen, of Burlington. Survivors also include a grandson, Benjamin William Park Myers, of Annapolis, MD and two granddaughters, Hadley Ann Myers and Heather Louise Myers of Burlington. Ann is also survived by two sisters, Ruth S. Ford of Asheville, NC and Carolyn S. Faris of Charlotte, NC, and a brother, Larry E. Stroud, of Stone Mountain, GA, four nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Marie S. Nadolski of Asheville, NC. The Myers family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of the Farmington Care Center, Farmington, for their care and attention during Ann's time at their facility. Services are to be scheduled at a later date at Nesbitt's Chapel United Methodist Church, Fairview, NC, with interment there in the family plot. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Suffield VNA, 450 South Street, Suffield, CT 06078 or to Nesbitt's Chapel United Methodist Church, Route 6 – Box 641, Fairview, NC 28730. Arrangements are being handled by the Ahern Funeral Home, Inc. of Unionville, CT.
