Calogera Nicotra Obituary
NICOTRA, Calogera "Lena" Calogera "Lena" Nicotra, 72, passed away Saturday (August 28, 2004) at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford. Lena was born in Enfield and had resided in Enfield all her life. She was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Lillian (Ferruccio) Nicotra. Lena is survived by a sister, Amelia Pierce and a brother, Joseph Nicotra, both of Enfield. Lena was also predeceased by her loving companion Ray Miller in 1989. Formerly employed for over 30 years, by the Hamilton Standard Company of Windsor Locks, she retired in 1987. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church, Reverend Don Gommesen pastor, Brainard Road, Enfield. In accordance with Lena's wishes her services and burial in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery will be private. Memorial donations made be made to: Allied Rehabilitation Center, Inc., 3 Pearson Way, Enfield, CT 06082. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels Enfield has been entrusted with Lena's arrangements.
