Carol Palumbo Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Carol Palumbo of Willington, CT. Carol passed away peacefully on August 23, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 24, 1937. She was predeceased by the love of her life Domenico L. Palumbo on March 15, 2013. Carol is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Palumbo, Patricia Lagasse and husband Ed, Kathleen Godlewsky and husband Jeffrey; and her beloved son (the Angel) Marc Palumbo; grandchildren: Vincent Lagasse, Benjamin Lagasse, Joseph Godlewsky, Victoria Lawhon and husband Brandon, Alesia Doughty, and great granddaughter Layla Marie Lawhon. She is also survived by a large and loving family, Giulio, Irene and Doris Palumbo, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held Saturday August 30th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd (Rt 44) Ashford, CT 06278. Family and friends may gather one hour prior in lieu of wake. Thank you to the staff of Regency Heights for the loving care given to our mother. Carol, (VERN), mom, gramma you have made us who we are today. Your smile, your laugh, your cooking will forever be in our hearts. STO LAT until we meet again..........
