To the Ojakian and Runquist families -
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of Cathy. I had the privilege of coaching softball for St. Brigid School when I was a junior at Northwest Catholic. We won the CYO Championship in 1972, and we couldn't have done it without our star 2nd basemen, Cathy Ojakian. Cathy was not only a tremendous athletic back in 8th grade, she was a joy to coach, a great teammate, fun to be around, and a great young lady. Boy, could she run! I was so sorry to hear of her struggles with MS, because she was so young and had such a wonderful family to share her life with. I know that she will be so missed by all of you.
My thoughts and prayers to her entire family.

Christina, Carly, Cassandra, & Nancy,
Our thoughts and prayers to you and your families during this difficult time.
I am so grateful to have had years of shared life experiences with Cathy. I welcomed her daughters into my preschool, we enjoyed activities at St. Paul Church and we would visit for hours talking about our children and grandchildren. Cathy was genuine, loving, vibrant, and spirit-filled.
She is now singing and dancing in the arms of our Lord. Rest peacefully my good friend. We will miss you.

Christina, CC, Carly & Steve, We have such great memories of Cathy from Greenacre Lane when our families were just beginning. Whether it was fun family trips to Sesame Place, 4th of July parade parties or hanging out on the back porch while babies slept. Cathy possessed a great sense of humor, was an awesome cook and had a kind heart. Please accept our sincere condolences. Love, Barb & Dave Mulak

My heart hurts for you all right now. I loved Cathy so much! I only got to see her once in recent years and I wish I'd been able to spend more time with her. She was such a loving, kind, funny, fun and beautiful person inside and out. And she had the best smile!
I will never forget the time she accompanied my family on a trip to NC. We sang along to movie soundtracks the whole ride. She was like another big sister to me. Sending much love and prayers to you all.

To the Ojakian and Runquist Family,
My heart breaks for everyone on the passing of Cathy. Although we have not seen each other in years weve messaged each other through Facebook. I will always treasure her writing me a few weeks ago on the passing of my mom. She was everything you wrote about her. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
