Celeen Berry

BERRY, Celeen (Flynn) Celeen (Flynn) Berry, a resident of Weston, MA, died October 31, 2009 at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland , MA. She was the wife of the late Gilbert F. Berry. Born in Plainfield, CT, she was the daughter of Thomas and Laura Flynn. Mrs. Berry graduated from the University of Connecticut, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was a longtime resident of West Hartford, CT, where she was a realtor and member of the Wampanoag Country Club. She also lived in Bloomfield Hills, MI. In retirement, she and her husband lived in Sarasota, FL and Sandwich, MA While a resident of Sandwich, she served as a volunteer for the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra and a literacy tutor in Barnstable County. Survivors include a son, Thomas Berry (Margaret), of North Olmsted, OH; twin daughters, Linda C. Berry of Farmington, CT and Lisa B. Moore of Medfield, MA; and a daughter, Elena Langlois (Michael) of Winchester, MA; she was the grandmother of Laura and Katie Berry, Aaron, Brett and Colin Moore and Annie, Christopher and Abigail Langlois. She also leaves nieces Pat O'Connor of Kentucky and Laurie Reynolds of Colorado; and a nephew, John Andrews of Maine. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at the Parlin Hospice Residence for the loving care of our mother during her last days. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 West Main St., Baltic, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Baltic. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parlin Hospice Residence, c/o Parmenter VNA, 266 Cochituate Rd., Wayland, MA 01778. Dougherty Bros.
