Uncle Charlie,
I can't recall a time when you didn't have a smile on your face or a joke to tell. You always knew how to make me laugh and I enjoyed all of our talks about the Whalers. I feel especially grateful to have had you in my life. The love you had for others and your family will always be remembered. You were an example of the meaning of love, caring and enjoying life to the fullest for all of us.
Dearest, Marie, Dave, D.J., Tracy and your children, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Charlie will be greatly missed. He was an unremarkable man.

Well today 8/6/02 I had to bury my best friend and uncle(CHAS)as I'm sitting writing this I still can't believe that he's gone. Growing up Chas would take me to see the Red Sox with the World Series Club..We had some of the best times at those games. Chas I am going to miss you so much our little chats, your words of advice because I needed it. The one thing that I feel the worst about was your look of disappointment on what happened June 1......Don't worry Chas that will never happen again. Christine misses you and she is very sad. The house has an eerie silence without you here. We'll Chas I guess I have to say GOOD-BYE now I LOVE YOU SEE YOU...........LOVE D.J.
