CONNORS, Charles M. Charles "Chuck" M. Connors, 65, of 87 Long Beach Ave., died, Monday, (March 21, 2011) at home with his wife and family by his side. He was born December 31, 1945 in Medford, MA a son of the late Charles E. and Frances (Renaghan) Connors and had lived in Malden, MA, Reading, MA, Clinton, MD, Brockton, MA and Everett, MA before settling in York, ME. He was a graduate of Boston State College. He served in the U.S. Navy. He had worked in management for the Government for many years. He was a member of the York Elks Lodge 2788, a life member of the D.A.V. and was an avid fisherman. He leaves his wife Nancy (Potz) Connors of 11 years; two sons, Mark T. Connors and wife Karen of Derry, NH, Michael J. Connors and wife Veronica of Newtown, CT; a daughter Tracey L. Pomfret and husband William of Brockton, MA; and his wife's three children, Meghan L. Pybus and husband Brian of Cheshire, CT, Paul G. Massey and wife Jane of West Palm Beach, FL, Heather L. Brunelli and husband James of Southington, CT; two brothers Edward J. Connors and wife Ruth of Medford, MA, Thomas Connors and wife Ann of Waltham, MA; a sister Mary Connors of Medford, MA; 11 grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Robert G. Connors and aunt Gertrude A. Connors. Calling hours for Chuck will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York, Maine. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 25 in St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine.
