Christopher Oborski Obituary

It is with great pain and heavy hearts that we as loving parents, Steven Oborski and Deborah Pennington Oborski, of South Manchester, CT. announce the death of Christopher Pennington Oborski on January 9th 2021. Chris was our first born, a Christmas baby born 42 years ago. Debbie went into labor on Christmas Day and Chris arrived the following morning. "Mr. Christopher", a beautiful baby boy, a happy child loving the outdoors , growing up enjoying life. He loved collecting his " Richy Rocks" his glittering rocks saved from the yard. He loved riding his BMX bike, sledding, or boogie boarding at Welles Beach Maine during our summer vacations. It seems like yesterday when he was our baby. Later in life, Chris became a skilled piano player and musician, composing and playing his own music on the piano or keyboard. His talents were recognized, winning the School Music Award. Chris also became our go to guy for computer advice and repairs. He was skilled enough for a computer built from collected parts. Chris was so mechanically inclined and skilled, not only to repair cars, but the ability to swap engines on his own in our driveway in the middle of winter. Along life's path Christopher attended RHAM High and SNERGY Alternative High School, receiving dual diplomas graduating with honors with the music award and computer award. Chris went on to attend Northern Maine Technical College and State of New York University at Delhi, New York. He later worked as a Veterinarian Assistant and also for the State of CT. DEP in Franklin and Marlborough. Chris will always be remembered to those who knew and loved him as a respectful and kind person. We wish Chris Peace in his New World surrounded by his Angels. Besides his Parents, Chris leaves behind his beloved younger brother Timothy Pennington Oborski and Alejandra Oborski , their two young boys, Sebastian and Luciano. Chris also leaves behind many loving Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins, not only in Connecticut, but through out the U.S. in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Florida, Vermont, and Argentina. A Service and Life Celebration is planned for Summer /Fall of 2021, when it is Safe. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation for those in need during these very difficult times to the Connecticut Food Bank in Chris's memory. LET CHRIS LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS We can shed our tears that Chris is gone or we can remember him as part of our lives Our hearts can be empty because we can't see him or our hearts can be full for what we shared together We can remember Chris only that he is gone or we can cherish his life and Let him Live on So Let him Live on....Live on in our hearts And Let him live on.... also in your hearts Until we Meet again Chris Your Angels will watch over you
