Claire Clermont Obituary

Claire (Galligan) Aschenbach Clermont, of Bennington, VT, wife of Paul Clermont, died peacefully Saturday, (September 21, 2002). She was born July 8, 1921 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (McElderry) Galligan. Claire was employed by Connecticut General for 13 years prior to moving to Sun City Center, FL, and later to Bennington, VT. She was a very caring person who was well liked by everyone who knew her. Including her husband Paul. Claire is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda Aschenbach of Brooklyn; a daughter and son-in-law, Christa and Joseph Hager of East Windsor; a brother, Edward Galligan of Closter, NJ; and two grandchildren, Lori Ann and Michael Hager both of East Windsor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 25, at 11 a.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. Calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 9-11 a.m., two hours prior to the service.
