Clarence Oswald Obituary

OSWALD, Clarence "Bud" Clarence "Bud" Oswald, 90, of Old Mill Court, Simsbury, husband of the late Demetria M. (Jordan) Oswald, died Thursday, (March 25, 2004) at McLean Home in Simsbury. He was born November 4, 1913 in Elizabeth, NJ, and had lived in the Hartford area for the past 44 years. He attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Oswald was employed as an engineer at Combustion Engineering in Windsor for 43 years, retiring in 1979 as Section Manager of Graphics Design. He was a member of the Hopmeadow Country Club, Retirees Club of Combustion Engineering and the Simsbury Codgers. He is survived by his nephew, Richard W. Oswald and his wife, Dotti of Ridgewood, NJ; two grandnieces, Elaine and Julie; and a grand nephew, David. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 27, 2 p.m. at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury with the Rev. Ann Bracket officiating. Friends are invited to call, 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, BIoomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to NIPD/NJ/Northvale Group Home, 418 Briarwood Lane, Northvale, NJ 07647.
