Craig...I can't believe you have been gone for 11 years...seems like only yesterday we were kickin back with a cold one and sharing a laugh or two. You were like a brother to me as well as a mentor, friend and confidant. I still want to reach out and talk with you...you are so missed and loved. Maryanne & Jason...I hope his love and memories are still in your heart and I know he is watching over you with a big smile on his face. Love you all

Dear Mary Ann and Jason,
We can never truly express our sense of loss on the passing of Craig. There are few truly great men that have walked this Earth. Craig was one of those few. We feel privileged and honored to have had Craig in our lives. He opened his heart and his home to anyone who sought shelter . He was our friend, our neighbor, our brother. He listened with such compassion and filled the void that so many of us sought. Craig was always the first one to lend a helping hand -no matter what the problem was. He listened with an open mind and only offered his advice if you asked him for it. We find it hard to believe that one of our best friends is gone but we do believe that he is looking down on us and protecting us as he did while he was on Earth. We miss you dear friend and hope that you have found peace. There won't be a day that goes by that we don't think of you and wish you were here with us sharing those moments that only best friends and neighbors can share. Our hearts are aching and empty. We will love you always and miss you dearly. Our deepest love and sympathy go out to Mary Ann , Jason and Leah. We are always here for you.

Love Diane and Tom

Craig was a great man and treated every one as if they were family weather he just met you or knew you for a long time. He was a hard working man and just plain fun to be around. He will be missed very much.

We just wanted to let you know that you are being thought about through this tough time. I've had some wonderful times sitting around your dining room table and Uncle Craig making me laugh so hard. I can just see him saying, "Tasty Chick babe?!" I still think of you as part of my family. Our prayers are with you.

MaryAnn, Jason and Leah,

Words can not express how sorry I am to hear that Craig has passed away. Although we have not be in touch for several years, the friendship we shared will always have a very special place in my heart. We shared so many good times together. Craig was the greatest friend a person could ever have. He was always there to either lend a helping hand or have a great conversation with. May the special love he shared with each of you and all the special memories you shared together help to get you through this difficult time. My Deepest Sympathy to each of you.

My heart goes out to Craigs family. I visited with Craig just a few days before Christmas and he was so upbeat that he was going to beat this problem.

What a great example Craig set for others. His children must be very proud of him.

We are so deeply saddened and have a sense of emptiness with the news of Craig's passing. I know you have lost a husband, soul mate, father, role model & friend. Our hearts and prayers go out to you in this time of sorrow. I lost one of the best friends I have ever had. We learned, laughed and helped each other for many years. I know we lost touch over the past couple of years but I loved Craig like a brother. I will cherish our good times & memories forever as I know this will help in our time of sorrow. I hope he will watch over and continue to guide us from his peaceful place in eternity. Jason I know your dad left big shoes & footsteps to follow, but taught you well to stand straight and walk tall. He was one in a million and will be deeply missed. Craig...I know I was not able to say "Good-Bye" but you will live in my heart forever. I love you bud!!!

Maryanne & Jason,
Although I haven't seen you in a long while, it doesn't lessen the sorrow I feel in the loss of someone I considered a friend. Craig always made me smile. I am smiling for him now. I will never forget him. My sympathies to you and your family. Know that I would be there with you if it were possible. God be with you.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel. When we lose someone we love, it seems that time stands still. What moves through us is silence, a longing for one more day, one more word and although we many not understand why he left this earth so soon, little by little, we begin to remember not just that he passed away, but that he lived. And that his life gave us memories to beautiful to forget. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead. We will cherish the memories of the times we spent together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief.
With love and deepest sympathy,

I was lucky to be welcomed in to the Melendy home numerous times. Craig and MaryAnn made everyone feel so welcome. I was able to spend time with him at a wedding and from an involved talk learned that he was not only a man who had a great sense of humor, but one who had great family values and cared greatly about his wife and son. His loss leaves a void but he will live forever without anymore suffering in all those that he touched.

Words can not express enough, the loss that I feel on this day. Dad was a fine man with a huge heart and he will be forever missed. He may have passed from this life but he will forever be in my heart. He had a lasting impact on the man I am today and for that, I am and will forever be grateful. It saddens me to know I will never again hear him say "Hun Mike's in the candy dish". My only consolation is that he is with the lord and is at peace. Pops we all love you and will miss you.

Words can not express the sorrow and sympathy felt for you and your family. Craig opened his heart, arms and home to any and all. Pops filled a fatherly void for so many of us and took us under his wing and welcomed us into his family. I hope we all can continue to celebrate his joy and attributes in life and carry them out.

My love and sincerest sympathies to all deeply pained by this loss.
