Dear Vera and family,
I was a friend of Darryl's in high school and only recently found out about his passing. I was proud to see that he'd had such a steller career and that it was crowned with him being a family man and a pastor. He'll be missed.

Vera and Hannah: I shared a suite with Darryl during our first year of law school. I read about his passing in our recent alumni magazine mailing. I was shocked and saddened. I am sorry for your loss.

Vera,
I have just found out about Darryl's passing and am saddened to hear the news. Darryl worked on a case for me recently regarding a sheet metal company who discriminated against the union and their workers. Darryl and Tom Quigley worked hard to win this case for the working man. His work may be done here and I wanted you and your family to know that Darryl fought for all of us who believe in equal rights. I will miss him and send my condolences to you from all the workers at Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #40.

To Vera...Daryl`s work here is done, but he is working for Jesus now in heaven. Preparing a better place for us. His life was too short. In his short space of time he has accomplished more than most men`s travels in their lifetimes. Our lives are richer because he has touched us with his presence. He will surely be missed. Our strength and prayers will continue to be with you and Hannah, and his family. God Bless.....Mom and Dad

Elder Hale will truly be missed by all those who knew him, what a bright young man he was. To his wife our prayers are with you may you find peace and joy knowing that he will not be suffering anymore and will soon be in a better place. It is difficult to find words for a time such as this. I loved Pastor Hale and considered him to be my best friend.

It's very hard to let him go, and tears come often, but our God is faithful.

I thank the Lord for the wonderful fellowship we have enjoyed with pastor Hale.

My heart is with the family members and friends at the Newington Church.

For several years we have shared some precious times and also endured moments of pain.

I deeply love everybody in the Newborn Church, and as long as I know that my Church family is still there I will rest in the hope that the sun will shine again, and things will be better after awhile.

To Vera, Hannah, and all of Darryl's Family -
My family and I send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Darryl. I previously worked with Darryl at the Labor Board in Hartford and remember him as being a kind, gentle, unassuming person-- always available to help and share his knowledge or advise on a case when he could. May he rest in peace and may happy memories comfort you in this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy...

My heart and prayer goes out to the Hale family and all of my Brothers and Sisters and New Born Church.

Pastor Hale will be sorely missed but by faith we understand that his reward is great and his citizenship of a greater country is fixed for all eternity.

We will see our brother again. The Church in Norwich is holding you all close in our prayers and thoughts.
