To the Carillo family, I am so sad to hear of your loss. Charlie, then David were my family's insurance agents, and mine until I moved to Texas in 1994. I stopped into the office last summer to show my son the home I grew up in for the first 18yrs of my life. My dad sold and it became the home of The Carillo Agency. (30 Suffield St). Great memories. David, his dad and the entire staff at Carillo Agency was very professional and always ever so friendly too. He will be missed by many. You are all in my daily prayers.

To the family of David Carillo.
I'm so sorry of your loss.
I was a bartender at Alberts Rest of Windsor Lock where I first meet David.I consider David to be one my best customers and true friend. He and his "216" Club stock meetings there for all of 4 years, the first Tuesday of every month.David was a humble person. Very kind hearted man,David and I would talk often about his dream house he was planning to build in Costa Rica, and the plans on how he wanted it to look.David was very proud of his kids, most of our conversations some how he always mention those kids,he was a very proud dad and it showed. Some nights David would come in alone, and I knew just what he was drinking and eating. He loved those spinich salads with no dressing just oil an vinegar. My comforting thoughts to Davids family is that David was a gracious man with a big heart, who had a love for life and his famliy. He will be missed.

My thoughts an prayers..

Sincerely,John Orfitelli

Many moons ago David was an active and charming student in my Problems of Democracy class. I will always remember his ability to engage in debate with a smile and gentleness toward his adversaries.

As you are well aware, he carried these skills throughout his life to his family and profession. What a great legacy!

Jared & Dane. You have my deepest sympathies. Although I greatly enjoyed "Deuce" as a dorm-mate at St. Michael's College and again during the many years he has so professionally provided for our family's insurance needs, it was just recently, while hearing his inspiring remarks about the college's effect on the development of his character -- at an event honoring the college's departing president -- that I got a clear glimpse inside the soul of this very special individual. May you and the others whose lives your father has touched see its full view especially during these difficult days now and continually thereafter.

To the entire Carillo family and to everyone at the Agency,
I am so very sorry to hear of David's passing. I met David when Charlie and Marie lived across from my family on Anthony Street and David sold me my first policy 32 years ago. I suffered a loss 6 weeks ago and David and the agency were there for me. I wish there was something I could say to help, but I know there is nothing that helps in this loss. I will just say that you are all in my prayers.
