David Colt Obituary

COLT, David David Colt, 56, died suddenly on Friday, (February 23, 2007). Born August 17, 1950 in Winsted; the son of Richard E. And Nancy C. Colt. David graduated from Mo honk Cragsmore grammar School in NY and Womagoo High School. He served in the United States Army. He owned and operated Dave's Small Engine and Generator Repair for 25 years. He also was a member of the Boyscout Troop #27 and he attended the Fillmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico. In addition to his parents, Richard and Nancy Colt of Winsted, he is survived by; a brother, Jeffrey Colt of Southbury, a nephew, Ryan Colt of Southbury, and three nieces, Heather Colt, Emily Colt and Hannah Colt, all of Southbury. He was predeceased by a brother, Peter Colt. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, at The Church of Christ, 800 Main Street, Winsted at 2 p.m. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted has care of the arrangements. my thoughts and prayers are with you during these troubling times. i used to live in the colt block and remember seeing dave there. i also used to see him at the landfill. i am sure he will be sorely missed by his family and friends
