David Dowling Obituary

DOWLING, David K. David K. Dowling, 51, died Wednesday (August 13, 2008), at home. He was born January 21, 1957 in Hartford to Patrick Joseph and Roberta Marie Aldrich Dowling Jr. He was very supportive of his wife of 28 years Gail; loved his daughters Jesse and Heather; was a devoted Papa to grandson H. Riley, and beloved brother of; Patrick, Delene, and Tracey. David loved art work, was an avid book reader and collector, and loved to quilt. He was artistic and a good dancer, with an infectious laugh. His memorial service will be on Thursday, August 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Glory of God Anglican Church. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Tracey Bagwell Hope Foundation, c/o Children's Home Society, 2370 Suntree Blvd., Suite 100, Melbourne, FL 32940. Arrangements entrusted to East Coast Cremation, 1240 S. US #1, Rockledge, FL 32955 (321) 623-1350.

Gail, I was so very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Dave was a good man and a great friend. I worked with Dave for many years at Konica and could always count on him to be there when needed. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
