He served on the Board of Directors of Youth United for Survival and Bon Vivants. In 2007 Dave and Jean moved to Brooksby Village in Peabody, MA where he volunteered at the Lahey Clinic and was an usher at the Brooksby chapel. Mr. Duval was my elementary school principal at Wolcott School. I remember him so fondly. Such a gentle giant. I saw him a few years back while vacationing on Martha's Vineyard. My condolences to his family. He was truly a wonderful man.

Mr. Duval was my very first principal. He was so well liked by my siblings, my parents and myself. Truly a great school leader! My condolences to his family.

Bob, very sorry to see that your father passed. I used to have a retired West Hartford school teacher on my para-transit bus who said that he was one of the nicest co-workers and the best boss that she ever had.

Always a friend and always a wonderful guest at many of our home gatherings - especially- our St. Patrick's Day parties! We have so many great memories of our times together - we especially hold close to our hearts the many years of friendship that we were privileged to share with Dave and his family.

With love, Ray & Peggy Callahan
