David Mike Obituary
David Edward Mike, of Tolland passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born March 1, 1989. Our son and brother lost his long struggle with opiates despite his best efforts to recover. At the early age of 28, he left behind his father, William Mike; mother, Betty Mike; and sister, Michelle Mike along with friends and family. David was a graduate of Tolland High School. He enjoyed playing sports. He loved playing and watching basketball, baseball and football the most. He loved to draw and doodle, laugh and joke, fishing, bonfires and the outdoors. He was a wonderful cook, perhaps missing his calling as a chef. His love for music was even greater. You found your peace. We will miss you until our last breath. Until we meet again. We love you. Mom, Dad, and Michelle, friends and family. Peace. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 3 to 6 PM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd., Tolland, CT 06084. I can not imagine what you all must be feeling right now. The words, I am so sorry for your loss, just don't hold enough weight no matter how true. Dave was such a funny, bright and loved individual.
