NUSS, David W.
It is with great sadness that the family of David William Nuss report his passing on January 16, 2013 at his home in Tunkhannock, PA. Formerly of Bolton, David was born in New Britain, on July 7, 1947 and was the son of the late George and Jessie Nuss. He was a 1965 graduate of New Britain High School and a 1970 graduate of UCONN with a Bachelor of Science in the School of Business Administration. Prior to his retirement David was employed for many years as a computer systems architect. He was a member of the Lake Carey Sportsman's Club and the Hi Lites Motor Club. He enjoyed golf, fishing and antique cars (he was the proud owner of a 1935 Ford Tudor Sedan) but his biggest source of joy came from the love he shared with his two adoring grandchildren. David is survived by his wife of 42 years Susan Sheppard Nuss; sons Scott Nuss of Vernon, and Jared Nuss and his fiancee Sarah McGuire of Williamsburg, VA; daughter Sandra Sue (Nuss) Zellner and her husband Ryan of Tunkhannock, PA; grandchildren Tyler and Abigail Zellner of Tunkhannock, PA; his brother Peter Nuss and his wife Bonnie of Hyde Park, NY; sisters Carolyn Vickery and her husband Robert of Phoenix, NY and Gretchen Tomaro and her husband Frank of Wethersfield; several nieces and nephews Michelle (Vickery) King and her husband Evan, Laura (Vickery) Stegmaier and her husband Keith all of Clay, NY, Daniel and Amy Tomaro of Hamden, and Steven Tomaro of Wethersfield.

I worked with Dave for over 12 years. Dave was a highly respected, dedicated colleague, and most important, a great friend. He will be highly missed by all of us who truly knew and loved him.

Sue and family,
I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He was one of my true, best friends in and after high school. We shared many rounds of golf and pick up basketball games.
He gave me the great honor of being best man at your wedding.
Though we lost contact over the years, I will truly miss him.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family

Oh Susi, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing, having just lost my own husband a month ago, I can certainly sympathize with you. But no words, however kindly meant, can soothe your pain away.
May each day that passes bring you hope and comfort through your treasured memories. God bless and keep you, call on Him to help you through these very trying days ahead.

A true friend and High School BB teammate. Even though we were not in contact, I will miss him, but his spirit will live on, especially since I still, carry scars from when he broke my nose our senior year. He hauled our sorry butts around in High School.
Bless you Lilly!!
