Deborah MARINO Obituary





MARINO, Deborah

Deborah Marino, 60, of East Hartford, died Tuesday at Riverside Health Center. Born in New Britain, the daughter of Shirley (Arute) Marino and the late Frank P. Marino, she graduated from Berlin High School, attended Briarwood College, and was a secretary for Frank Marino Construction. She was a member of St. Paul Church, Future Homemakers, and the Berlin swim team, had a brown belt in karate, and was active in politics. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Edward Amenta Jr. of Plainville; two daughters, Lorraine Lewis and her husband Jason of Berlin, and Melissa Amenta of Plainville; a brother, Frank "Butch" Marino in Maryland; a granddaughter, Amber Gunn; a grandson, Jordan Kelley; and several nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Health Center for her excellent care and attention.
Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Kensington, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Maple Cemetery on Worthington Ridge in Berlin.
