VALENTINE, Della Della (Janusonis) Valentine, widow of George Valentine, died Thursday, (March 16, 2006) peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Staskelunas) Janusonis, she was a lifelong resident of New Britain and Communicant of St. Andrews Church, where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Della was the cornerstone and guiding light of her beloved family, who will always lovingly remember her. She gave constant support and encouragement to her children and grandchildren. Family was the focus of her life. She is survived by her daughter Anne Mackiewicz and her husband William, her son, Robert Valentine and his wife Mary, and her daughter Mary Caminiti and her husband William; along with her grandchildren William Mackiewicz and his wife, Jennifer, Julie Mackiewicz, Lisa Valentine, Matthew Valentine, Adam Caminiti, Matthew Caminiti and his wife Kristen. Also she is survived by several nieces and nephews and special niece and cousins Marion Valentine and Janet, Armond, Vanessa and Damian Barneschi. Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, William, John and Edward Janusonis; two sisters Julia Valentine and Mary Piliponis: and her dear cousin Nellie Semnowski. Funeral services will be held on Saturday from the Venskunas Funeral Home 670 Stanley St., New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Church. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Marys Cemetery. Callings hours will take place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until leaving for church.
