Donald J. "Don" MacPherson

1948 - 2019

Donald "Don" MacPherson, 70, of Estero, FL and recently of Hebron, CT passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson's disease on January 17th. Don grew up and spent most of his adult life in Franklin,MA, where he earned a living as a mechanic, truck driver and a mover, and played a large roll in his wife's decorating business, Balloons by Nanci.Don was also a veteran of the US Navy.Don's sarcasm and wit made him a favorite to his friends throughout the years, as well as his caregivers in his later years. Don enjoyed playing golf, riding his 3 wheel bike, driving his granddaughters around in his golf cart and watching Florida sunsets.Don was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years-Nancy MacPherson of Estero, FL. He is survived by his daughter Holly MacPherson-Blouin, son-in-law Michael Blouin, granddaughters Morgan and Brooke Blouin of Coventry, CT; brothers Paul MacPherson, Kenneth MacPherson, and sister Beverly Nigro.Over the years Donald has touched many lives in Massachusetts and Florida, he will be greatly missed.Memorial & burial will be private.
