Dorilda Boutote

1932 - 2021

Dorilda (Dee) Boutote, 88 of Plymouth, formerly of Bristol, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Born in Wallagrass, ME on October 1, 1932, she was one of ten children to the late Levite and Amelia (Labbe) Bouchard. Raised and educated in northern Maine, she had a love for the outdoors from a young age. She enjoyed gardening, bird feeding and the occasional hunting trip for moose. Dee settled in her home in rural Plymouth for the past 45 years where she enjoyed sewing and reading. Small but mighty, she was a woman of great strength and tough love as she raised and provided for her six children. Remembered for her passion for life, love for dancing, and a good home cooked meal, she will be missed dearly, leaving many cherished memories. She is survived by her children, Peggy Bassette, Priscilla Zissis, Tom Boutote, Patty Pelletier (Roger), Mike Boutote, and Paul Boutote (Sharon Egri); her brothers, Mike and Dan Bouchard; her sister Lucille Saucier; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her sons-in-law, Paul Zissis and Dave Bassette and six of her siblings. Family and friends may gather on Saturday, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Plainville Funeral Home, 81 Broad St, Plainville.
