So sorry to hear of Doris´s passing. She was a beautiful woman, a wonderful mother and neighbor and one of my mom´s (Patricia) dearest friends. I rennet the old neighborhood on Ward Place back in the good ole days when my twin brother Dougie and I would spend time with Jeffrey and play with tops and matchbox cars. Doris was always there for us when we needed her. I remember the Arvisais also. Kathy was my friend. God Bless all of us from that old neighborhood

IF rose grow in heaven, lord pick a bunch for us place them in our dear friend arms and tell her they're from us, tell her we love and miss her and when she turns to smile place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while, because remembering her is easy, we'll do it every day, but there is an ache within our hearts that will never go away may your soul rest in perfect peace mrs Doris. Bob and I have very fond memories of when we were living in Connecticut and all the dances, parties and other occasions when we had a chance to get together with Jack and Doris. After we moved away Doris often gave messages to us through Carmela Arvisais, wishing us well or asking her how we were doing. The last time we saw Doris was way too long ago in 2015 when we were up in Connecticut and Rick and Heidi Bernard arranged an Arvisais reunion. We had some time to sit and catch up with Doris and Laurie was also there. It's a shame we didn't get to see her more often. Doris was a very sweet, caring person and a lot of fun, too! She was very fortunate that you helped her so much after Jack passed away. God bless you for doing what you did for her. She's up in heaven kicking up her heels with Jack now! What a reunion that must be! God bless you all and may he help you through this difficult time.

To all of the Cavanaugh family, we send our deepest condolences. We have such fond memories of all the parties, dances and other celebrations we got to share with Doris, Jack and the gang. We wish we could have seen her more often after we moved away from Connecticut. The last time we had a chance to spend some time with Doris was in 2015 when Rick and Heidi Bernard hosted an Arvisais family party. We had a chance to catch up on everything. She was always interested in what we were doing and communicated to us through Carmela often sending her regards and asking how we were. She was a sweet, caring person and a lot of fun, too! God bless you for the care you gave her after Jack passed away. She was so fortunate to have you there for her. God bless you for doing that. She's up in heaven now kicking up her heels with Jack. May God help you get through this difficult time. Love, Bob and Genie
