CHRYSTAL, Eleanor P. Eleanor Packer Chrystal entered into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord on Sunday, (September 10, 2006) after a long courageous battle with cancer. Eleanor is survived by her husband, Ralph E. Chrystal of Royal Palm Village #28, 3000 US Highway 17-92 West, Haines City, FL 33844. The Chrystal's have been residents of Haines City for the past 24 years, moving there from Bristol. Eleanor was born November 13, 1924 in Haverhill, MA and was the daughter of the late Harry and Agnes Packer. Eleanor was a very active member in her parish and community. In addition to her husband, Eleanor is survived by her daughter and son-in-law John and Bonnie (Chrystal) Lodovico and granddaughters Chrystal and Ashley Lodovico of Bristol; her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Patricia Chrystal and grandson Joshua Chrystal of Coventry; and granddaughter Melanie Chrystal of Monson, MA. Mrs. Chrystal also leaves a brother Albert Packer, age 92, of Hinsdale, NH, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Packer. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Haines City, FL. Burial will be at the discretion of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Winter Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center, 202 Avenue O NE, Winter Haven, FL 33881, or the Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL 33823.
