Our Deepest Sympathy to the family from Eleanor's husband Bill's first cousin Ruth, on the Smith side of the family, and her husband George. We have lost touch since Bill died but Eleanore was a dear sweet person and I know you will miss her terribly.

Dear Kathy, Evvy, Terri-Ann, and Bill,
When your Mother was able to, she helped many people; we played together as children, and as a teen, she spent much of the hard -earned money she made at Woolworth's on Christmas gifts for others, including roller skates and a lavender sweater for me. She used to pull me in a box on the ice up at the old Rez, and when it was my turn to be the teen, I spent many moments of fun at her/your home in Bolton. She introduced me to my husband, and sang at our wedding, and when all our kids were little, we were always figuring up excuses to get the guys to bring usand all you little ones, back and forth to see one another as neither of us drove at the time .Although we lost touch after she was widowed and I divorced, nothing can ever change those fond memories of her, your Dad and you all. May you,one and all, find the peace of God that passeth all understanding at this time, may you find comfort and strength in one another , and may the many moments of happiness you all shared together not be distant memories, but present treasures to hand down to your own children. Please stay in touch. God bless and keep you all, Love, Aunt Doreen

To the family of Eleanore Smith,
May you find peace and comfort in knowing others care during this difficult time. More importantly, that God cares and is the great healer of all hurts and sorrows. You will be in my daily prayers. In Christ's Love,
