Elsa Potter

POTTER, Elsa (Haase) Elsa (Haase) Potter, 84, of Deep River died on Tuesday, (August 19, 2008), at Aaron Manor in Chester. Wife of the late James A. Potter. Born in Deep River, daughter of the late Ernest A. and Elsa M. (Mittag) Haase. Mrs. Potter was a 1942 graduate of Deep River High School and retired after 24 years with L.C. Doane Co. She was an active member of the Winthrop Baptist Church and a volunteer for FISH for 14 years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kathleen and J. Kenneth Lincoln Jr. of New Castle, ME and a grandson Nathan A. Lincoln of Savannah, GA. Funeral services will be held at the Winthrop Baptist Church in Deep River on Saturday, August 23, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Centerbrook Cemetery.
