Ernest "Ernie" J. Douville, Jr., 54, of Enfield, loving husband of 36 years to Carol (Whaples) Douville entered into God's glorious Kingdom on Monday, (October 1, 2012), at home with his loving family by his side. Ernie, we have rarely seen you, Carol and the girls over the years since we left Calvary. But just knowing you were out there, with your wonderful family, fighting the good fight, was an encouragement. I remember you as a good neighbor and friend, a good husband and father, and as a disciple of our Lord. You are with Him now. May your current peace be a comfort to Carol and the girls.
You will be missed.

Ernie, words can't say how much you will be missed, by so many. You had a heart of gold, you were always so caring, warm and welcoming. I often look back on the days of the young adult group and smile. Now you are where you said you couldn't wait to be and see the things that we could only imagine. I remember our conversation about what each of us looked forward to seeing the most and who we would most like to get to talk with. Now you don't have to imagine anymore, now you are walking down the streets of gold and I can only imagine the conversations you are having. You are forever in so many hearts, the number of people you have touched is immeasureable. Till we meet again.

Ernie was always about the kids. He loved his girls but he so enjoyed coaching and being around kids. I thank him for his friendship and the joy he shared to my kids and everyone else he met.
