My dad, Al "Buddy" Cayer, always spoke of Everett as a good friend. He and Everett spent many hours together with their other buddies at United Auto service in New Britain. Although my dad's memory and health is failing him these days at 84, he still has fond memories of the times he and Everett tinkered with small engines.
